    DacqPod 12A If you want to use one portable data acquisition unit on either the parallel or serial port and also have a prototyping area for special added circuitry, check out the DacqPod 12A series. It has automatic internal battery backup if the parallel port is too low in power (as with some laptops).

    We have customers that are using these units with HP "palmtops" where size and weight is critical in real time data collection operations. (ie... stress. vibration, etc.) Other customers are using the DacqPods for data acquisition in car and airplane systems.

    Use the AmpDongles with the AdcDongle 12A8IX model series to increase the A/D sensitivity, expand the input channels or allow the use of longer analog signal cables.     The DOS/Windows Starter Code package lets you get down to the hardware level if you want. No megabytes of Windows software are needed to get you going with Visual Basic or C because the functions are written in compact assembly code.

    Want a Simple-to-Use 8 Bit D/A?

    Try the Low-Cost DacDongle. This is the lowest-cost, easy way to add analog output to PC's.

    The DacDongle can be used in 1000s of various applications. It is for low noise audio applications and can directly drive a set of headphones. It can also be used in open loop controls. The output is ratiometric to the printer port data line logic high level. That is, for the lowest cost to you, the digital to audio converter R/2R network is directly connected the data port, with range switches and voltage follower buffered outputs.

    Low-Cost Plug-In ISA card

    The DacqCard8CI plug-in ISA card is perfect for your applications where you need a simple to use high-speed, 8-bit single channel in and out, A/D D/A board. There are no IRQ or DMA jumpers to set or change. There will be no conflict with your other cards. The DacqCard 8C1 is very easy to install and set up.

    If you want to write your own special Basic Language code for use with the card, it is as simple as you can get:
