The AdcDongles use the latest integrated circuits and surface mount technology to give the highest performance in the smallest package.
New! The PicDongle series has a microcontroller, EEPROM memory and crystal clock to give you controlled sampling even on the latest preemptive operating systems. The sample rate, signal processing, and data storage are all handled by the PicDongle to give you the lowest host CPU useage. Just plug in the PicDongle and the data sampling stream is sent to the PC's serial port.
The PicDongle Program Development Environment lets you quickly design, test and program your PicDongle for custom signal acquisition and processing code. Add real-time filtering, transducer linearization, adaptive sample rates and other special processes without loading down your host PC.
If you want to use one portable data acquisition unit on either the parallel or serial port and also have a prototyping area for special added circuitry, check out the DacqPod 12A series. It has automatic internal battery backup if the parallel port is too low in power (as with some laptops).
We have customers that are using these units with HP "palmtops" where size and weight is critical in real time data collection operations. (ie... stress. vibration, etc.) Other customers are using the DacqPods for data acquisition in car and airplane systems.

If you are looking for portable multichannel D/A output modules, the DacqPod 12B series may be what you want. This module only runs off the parallel port since it is a higher speed unit. It has automatic internal battery backup if the parallel port is too low in power.
The DacqCard8CI plug-in ISA card is perfect for your applications where you need a simple to use high-speed, 8-bit single channel in and out, A/D D/A board. There are no IRQ or DMA jumpers to set or change. There will be no conflict with your other cards. The DacqCard 8C1 is very easy to install and set up.

If you want to write your own special Basic Language code for use with the card, it is as simple as you can get:
